Anolon 12-Quart Covered Pasta Set

Our pasta set includes a 12-quart covered stockpot and a 12-quart pasta insert. The advantages of cooking with this insert are many. The insert fits into the pot and the pasta cooks within the insert. When the pasta is cooked simply lift the insert above the pan to drain. Because the pasta is lifted rather than poured draining is a gentle process ideal for delicate filled pasta such as ravioli. As the water drains back into the cooking pot there is no worry of water backing up into your sink if your colander drains too slowly. And if you decide you need to cook a second batch of pasta the water can be brought back to a boil quickly. Not just for pasta the insert may be used for blanching vegetables boiling corn or making stocks and the stockpot alone will hold a party size batch of chowder.
